Wow! Amazing! The people are so great at their jobs and very friendly. Gorgeous old buildings. I'm so impressed with the condition of the homes and I've seen TONS of historic houses. The admission price is for a good cause. Great place to go. So many architecturally unique buildings.

Been here several times since I was a kid. Very informative, beautiful, and eye opening. Currently performing restorations on several of the buildings but I'm very much looking forward to coming back and seeing them once they've been restored. Great for families, kids, and people of any age interested in a piece of the South's more darker history. Definitely check out the restored store and the exhibit on James Williams and Reconstruction.

Strolling the grounds with a great guide map that had information about all the things to see is a wonderful way to spend an afternoon. The animals were a happy surprise for our 6yo too! Dont rush through, take your time and soak up the ambiance of a time gone by :)

What a perfect place for a stroll, a treat, and a lesson in our history. I was completely ignorant of the importance this region played in our country's founding. They have big plans, so go support them. They also have very kind, and interested teammates. People who were there, actually seemed to want to be there. We were thankful for that.
