Highly enjoyable museum. I thought the kinetic sculptures were fun to look at. Quick exhibits, there was the film room with the cool perspectives, super fascinating. Tickets are relatively cheap and worth the experience.

The front desk was so helpful and informative for our first visit! The museum itself is pretty small, but the current Warhol/Basquiat exhibit is what we came for and it was excellent. They also present a lot of art from styles and eras that most museums in North Carolina and the South in general dont, so that was cool. Cant beat it for the price!

Bechtler is a pretty small museum with an interesting European photograph exhibit. The staff was very nice and tickets were inexpensive. However, I wasn't really wowed by much of the artwork. I wish there were more interesting pieces. But it gave me something to do on a rainy day in CLT. I'd recommend visiting.

This museum is the right size for its focus with four floors and four exhibit rooms. The theme has a natural focus on European, with a strong Swiss presence, of art between WW1 and mid 1900s, where the group of artists with pieces in this museum built on each other and tended to move in the same circles. The museum is well laid out and has wonderful pieces.

This museum was small, but beautiful. I really enjoyed the Warhol exhibit and the staff was friendly and knowledgeable. I spent part of a layover walking around and found this a nice place to relax.
