Great staff - friendly, helpful and kind. Really cool indoor/outdoor pool for kids. Rooms could use a "refresh," but nice. Lobby very nice. Thanks for a great stay.
Stopped by this hotel during a trip from NYC to NOLA. Chosen this place because it was a convenient stop and was a pet-friendly hotel, but really glad that we've stayed here after spending the night. The bed was comfortable, but the shower pressure was little bit low. Clearly the building is slightly dated, but the recent renovation was done well for this small conference styled hotel right next to the Charlotte airport. Despite being so close to the airport, air traffic noise was not an issue. The building itself has a very beautiful indoor/outdoor pool that we didn't get a chance to enjoy, but the kids playing in the pool as we were checking out seemed like they were having a good time. There is a car rental office right in the hotel, which I imagine will make visiting Charlotte for a quick trip during longer layover really convenient.
My girlfriend and I had accidentally booked the wrong night and when we went up to the front desk the lady was completely understanding and went above and beyond to help us find a solution to our mistake. She was able to find us a room with the same rate and gave us a complimentary breakfast even though WE we're the ones who made the mistake. She was amazing and so was the rest of the staff we encountered during our stay. The guy who worked the club access floor was outstanding with steller service and just added to our experience. The hotel is very lovely on the inside so don't let the outside fool you. Very much enjoyed our stay and wish it could've been longer. Definitely would recommend this place to anyone coming into town.
Room was quality. The beds were better than typical hotels. We did not use the pool but the indoor/outdoor access looked cool! There wasn't enough towels for my liking. IMHO, guests should get more than one towel per person. For the price we paid, I thought there would have been a breakfast buffet included. Sadly, it was not. Breakfast started at $10 per person.
The room was nice and the beds were amazingly comfortable. The pool was neat bc half is inside. The inside half was pretty cold but that's to be expected. When we left, we wound up paying $50 more than we were quoted. The AAA discount was $20 more than we were quoted and there was an occupancy tax that we weren't informed about. I'd stay here again but I probably wouldn't have if they had given me the true price when I called.
