The Front Desk Attendant Kenny was excellent. He provided the kind of service I have come to expect Marriott properties. I had booked a confirmed Suite Reward Night, the room was not available. Kenny advised me of the inconvenience, apologized and compensated me with a smile. He was very pleasant to chat with. He offered dining recommendations and directions to our destination downtown. He was funny and welcoming. Kenny also handled our checkout a few days later. Once again he was upbeat, met us with a smile and processed our exit swiftly and efficiently.

This hotel is a great value. Management is friendly, fast and efficient. Furnishings and fixtures are a little dated but the room is well-maintained and clean. Mattresses have seen better days but they are still comfortable and most importantly the linens are nicely clean. Bathroom is also dated but super clean. Water is of good quality and the pressure is good. I would stay here again.

Front desk people were great - very friendly but also professional. Check in was very easy. Great breakfast choices and the coffee was actually good. Will definitely stay there again when we return to Charlotte. Good value for the money.

This is one of the lowest quality Marriott hotels I have stayed at. The mattress was old and worn out, but otherwise the rooms were fine. The coffee was mostly water, but there was no water available in the lobby. When we asked the front desk, they told us there was complementary lemonade, but we would have to purchase water. There are two treadmills and an elliptical in the fitness center. One of the treadmills doesn't work, and the other has a large tear in the belt. I felt unsafe running on it within the first tenth of a mile.

Nice older hotel that needs renovation! The price was attractive to us and the experience was worth every penny for a one night in out stay if you're traveling. I would not stay here if I was staying in the area for several days but rather suggest a newer hotel. It was clear but hard to keep up that which is 1980's old!
