Home2 Suites by Hilton Charlotte Northlake
Very nice hotel, people and overall pleasant place to stay. I can say my stay was peaceful with no complaints. Easily accessible to many places in the area. Although the hotel had just moved to a new checkin system, the front desk staff remained calm and did what it took to keep things moving smoothly.
Check in staff is very friendly, personable, and efficient with their job. They were very helpful in helping us. The rooms were clean and well kept and there was no issues with noise. We like that was located next to Easton place shopping and dinning. There was a lot to choose from and do right next to the hotel.
We actually loved this stay. Generally, these rooms for me are ok because of the bare minimum. My wife loves their rooms. I enjoyed this stay because it's in the middle of everything in Charlotte. The staff was great and we had a great view of a small river or pond size lake. The gym was actually better than most, and they had decent equipment with dumbbells up to 90lbs. They also had a functional trainer and, of course, cardio equipment with towels and wash clothes available . This was the best stay at any if there facilities to me so far.
For a short-term stay is fine. I don't think it's anything to brag about. Breakfast is basic, and the rooms are plain and basic. Not to mention the smell of dogs. The pool is not as big. However, for the time my family and I were in it, there was no other guest. Which was a plus. The fitness center could be better. There were two machines that weren't working, but we made the best of it. Our kids did enjoy the hot chocolate and sitting outside by the fire. So, that was nice. So, overall, we will not be staying again. However, for some people, it's fine. Close to Walmart, Harris Teeter, and restaurants. Plus, 15 mins from downtown Charlotte.
Great hotel & great service. Cane for a soccer tournament with maybe 15 girls! Staff was smiling and interacting with kids during our stay. We never experienced anything like this because most hotels get stressed with the teams. So would I though lol . Thank you for the wonderful experience!
