NoDa Brewing Company’s Beer Tastings

One of Charlotte’s oldest homegrown microbreweries, NoDa Brewing Company is a unique production brewery that specializes in small-batch premium beers offering something for nearly every beer drinker. Groups are guided through the brewing process from start to finish, stopping along the way to see, feel and smell the hops, grains and malts that go into the beers. Pre-booked groups will be able to taste beer that is currently in fermentation tanks and compare side-by-side against the final product to understand the differences.

Length of Experience: 45 minutes−1 1/2 hours

Group Size: 15−99 participants. No minimum for leisure travelers.

Availability: Taproom open to the public seven days a week. Tour times vary by day. Thursday and Friday, 6 p.m.; Saturday, 4 p.m.; Sunday, 3 p.m. Reservations are required for groups larger than 15.

I feel like I needed to submit a new review based on the current state of brewery. First off, beer is ever changing. If you want something new then you should go to NoDa. It may not be your favorite beer ever but you don't go to a new place looking for that. NoDa is a great place to test new styles, they consistently put out above average beer and provide a great environment to enjoy it in. Anecdotally, they have one of the widest selections of beer every time I go in. The beer tenders are very knowledgeable about about the beers to the point where they can tell you detailed ingredients if you have any allergen issue. Update: The gluten reduced beer list has significantly expanded. If you have any sensitivity to gluten it is worth the visit. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and will find the answer you want.

Our friends got married here this past Saturday. The place is so much fun. The kids had a blast and the hard seltzer selection was on point! The staff were super friendly too!

Large venue inside and out. Can be a bit difficult to find the entrance the first time. Good beer selection. Plenty of parking available. Recommend checking this place out.

We hosted an event at NoDa last weekend and the space was great. The staff was helpful and attentive to our needs, and the beers were delicious. Highly recommend!

First time at NoDa Brewing Company. Their location was a bit hard to find at first. I use "Waze" app GPS. Gotta keep a look out for the gravel drive/main production entrance. *Enough of that...Back to the good stuff. NoDa BC has been around since 2011.Their craft brew/seltzer selection is pretty substantial. I purchased an IPA flight. I recommend the Fusion Series Vol III: Passion Fruit. It's spot on! It was cold outside, but the fire pit kept those close warm. The crowd had a bit of everything(families with kids, pets, couples, food trucks and most importantly Fun). I'll be back again.
