Enjoyed Brunch for Easter 2022 with the Grits, Bacon, and Egg Bowl - description is perfect: soft scrambled eggs served over North Carolina cheese grits, bacon and toast. All the flavors tied in well, it was a nice light meal. Service and atmosphere was great.

Came in at 3 while traveling. Food took forever to arrive, the burger was cold and the queso was congealed. Kept hearing shouts from the kitchen, apparently they were more interested in the Qatar game. Servers were nice but probably will never use this location again.

Food was delicious. Waitress was friendly and efficient. Also, I got some cute photos and one with my fun waitress. The patio is a vibe. We're definitely coming back. I loved it. This was perfect for my birthday.

Our food and service were both very good! The hostess said they were short staffed and only had one cook and that it would take at least a half hour to get our food. We'll, it only took 15 minutes and our dinner was delicious! I got the blackened shrimp tacos with tater tots ( I love tater tots) and my wife got the build your own salad. Both our dinners we're great!. My wife's salad was hug and fresh! We also got an order of roasted brussel sprouts and they were also delicious. Ana, our server, was very nice and pleasant and did a great job taking care of us. Short staffed or not, everyone at Hickory Tavern worked very hard and did a great job!
