DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Charlotte
The hotel is very clean and they give delicious cookies upon arrival! The only issue is that all of the channels on the TV don't work and you can't plug in a fire stick because of how the TV is mounted. The AC in the room also did not work well. But the service was great and the bed was comfy.
DO NOT RECOMMEND Front desk service is below sub-par. Agent was sucking her teeth and rolling her eyes. We waited in line for 20 minutes and even after everyone else was accommodated and we were the only ones in the lobby to be checked in she made it appear we were a nuisance and she was too busy to be bothered with us. We ended up going to the Residence Inn Charlotte and had a great experience. We even got a better room for the same price. DO NOT RECOMMEND. ZERO OUT OF 5 STARS

My family stayed here for a Billy Joel concert and everything was great. Really enjoyed the courtyard and proximity to the bank of America stadium. And parking.
TLDR: Staff was amazing; room was dirty and infested with cockroaches. Service was great, I felt very welcomed upon entering the hotel. When I made it to my room, I noticed that the sink had a severe leak when turned on. This led to the floor flooding if left on for a few seconds causing me to immediately throw a towel on the ground. I had a great sleep, but I was greeted by a cockroach friend in the bathroom the morning I woke up. I trapped it under the trashcan and took a video of everything. On surface level, the hotel looked nice. But after staying there, I left feeling dirty. Who knows where else there are cockroaches.
Good location, kind of on the outskirts of the uptown... lots of parking which can be an issue in Uptown. Clean hotel, walking distance to our local office and BoA Stadium if you're in town for the Panthers.
