Had dinner at Libations Restaurant at 7pm. Seated immediately and ordered quickly. Service was excellent and wait time for food was what you'd expect for a sit down restaurant. I had the roasted elk and it was delicious but small portion for the price. The calamari was excellent and well portioned, especially since I had a voucher for a free plate from Taste of Charlotte. I recommend this restaurant for hotel guests and city goers
The main roads are under construction so it's a little challenging to get to the hotel, drive with caution around this area. You have to pay $18/day to park at the hotel garage, but you get to come and go as much as you'd like. There's a bar downstairs across from the lobby but it hardly ever seemed to be busy with people. I booked a king room on the seventh floor which is reserved for Hilton Honors guests, with a window view of the Panther Stadium. The room has a lemon-lime color scheme, with a modern 80's and 90's decor feel. The bed is comfortable and pillows have just the right amount of softness to help me get a good night's sleep. The swimming pool was kind of small, and has just a few laying chairs for lounging or tanning. There's a handicap pool lift at one corner that looks like a death trap. Oh and there's a sign above a shower sprayer, that says that you have to shower before you get into the pool. Be prepared because that shower feels like ice water when it hits you, it's enough to take your breath away. Bring your own sunscreen because the one at the front desk costs $10 for a 10 ounce bottle. It's Dollar store brand sunscreen too.
Room was great.. clean. Comfortable. Room service was so strange the lady who delivered our food invited herself to sit down in our room.. and proceeded to tell us how slow they were. And how tired she was.. and how she needed a ciggarette.. dishes remain outside of room it has been several hours
The restaurant was a little slow serving lunch but the food was amazing. The biscuits and pork belly was excellent along with the waygu burger. Server was friendly just a little slow but we had time.
Awesome location to reach food and fun. Didn't take too long to take a Lyft to the PNC music pavilion. The beds were comfortable, and when I made them aware of my allergy to down, they quickly came and completely remade the bed with synthetics. Great service!
