Love the atmosphere and the bands have always been fun. My major complaint (as I've heard over and over) is they keep it SO HOT in there. We found a table by the open outdoors (because I knew if my husband was as hot as he was the last time we were there when we were in the very middle of the club, we would have to leave...and I didn't want to leave!)..but it was STILL hot from the heat rolling out from the inside of the club. I'm really surprised more people don't pass out in there.
Everytime we go to Uptown this place seems to have some of the better service. One bartender forgot to start a tab and the manager apologized as well. Bartenders are always quick and has a down to earth feel considering the other options in Epicenter.
Fun music but the crowd was kinda old, mid 30s to mid 40s. Music was a live 90s coverband at the time, which was decent. Cover charge was $5 and coronas were about $8 each i think
An epicenter bar pretending to be a dive. I love the local bands and good food. Drinks are expensive but the half priced apps early in the night are great right before a movie at SMG.
Great place to stop and grab a drink during the week and cool live music on the weekend especially if you don't feel like going to one of the teenybopper clubs in the epicenter!
